“Clifford” entered the Equine Welfare Society as a case of extreme neglect in 2009. With a body score of one and a severely infected coffin bone, his survival seemed dubious.

 

Through everything, Clifford maintained his cheery attitude and recovered physically after much love and care. Healthy and happy until his mid-thirties, Clifford enjoyed life at the farm and seeing his pasture buddies everyday until he passed away June 1st of 2016.
