Let's go for a ride together.....

Our handsome duo, Plisch and Plum, was surrendered to our program by their elderly owner. Needing to move from his farm in the countryside to an urban environment to be closer to his family, number one and two needed a new home and names! Plum arrived with a wire band around his hind cannon bone and both had no prior farrier or health care.

Currently they can be touched on the head and neck, but cannot be readily haltered. Feral but kind, these two are destined for a home as beautiful pasture pets after they learn all of heir basic domestic skills. EWS participates in the HSUS Forever Foundation program and the training exercises have proven to be extremely useful. It is exciting to watch them progress from fearful ferals to docile domestics!
