ABOUT ME

"Hope" is a mature Thoroughbred mare who came to the Equine Welfare Society as part of a seizure in 2008 due to her extreme malnutrition and neglect. She has made a stunning recovery, and is now a very easy keeper!

Hope is the boss lady in the field, and her duty is to instill manners in the young horses and tell them what to do and how to behave. She is never mean or aggressive, but everyone listens to Hope even if she just wiggles an ear!

She is a lady on the ground and a very strong personality. Hope has an old racing injury that prevented her from returning to being a riding horse, and she will live forever at EWS in the big fields with her friends.
