Let's go for a ride together.....

"Lorna" arrived at the farm in the spring of 2019. This lovely mare was an owner surrender through the Maryland Equine Transition Program (METS).

Lorna had a career as a racehorse and then a broodmare before arriving in Keswick.

After spending time with Lorna, we determined that she did not enjoy being ridden. Upon consultation with our veterinarian it was determined that she has arthritic changes in her back.

Although not suitable as a riding horse, Lorna loves attention and is a fantastic member of her herd. She would excel at being a pasture companion for someone who enjoys ground work and natural horsemanship.

If this sounds like the horse for you, please contact us about adopting lovely Lorna.
