  2. Schedule procedure

  3. Complete procedure

  4. E-mail invoice to EWS

  5. EWS will make the payment directly to licensed veterinarian.

EWS will not under any circumstances reimburse individuals or organizations for procedures already paid in full or issue payments to anyone other than a licensed veterinarian.

If your veterinarian requires payment at the time of service, please contact EWS to discuss options prior to scheduling the procedure.

What are the benefits to the EWS Veterinary care Fund?

The equine does not have to travel for the procedure preventing possible additional expense and unnecessary trauma of relocation. In addition, you have the ability to use your trusted veterinarian who has a vested interest in your animals.

End of Life Support

Euthanasia is the practice of intentionally ending a life to relieve pain and suffering. Humane euthanasia is the best and kindest option for horses suffering from a poor quality of life due to chronic illness, lameness, advanced age or a history of dangerous behavioral issues. EWS and licensed veterinarians follow the American Association of Equine Practitioners' Guidelines

Castration Assistance

Castration (a.k.a. "gelding") is a surgical procedure performed by a veterinarian that is defined as the removal of the testicles of a male equine. Responsibly castrating your equine will help reduce the population of unwanted animals in the United States, improve trainability and behavior as well as reducing your liability as an equine owner.
